Police helicopter scrambled to Benfleet railway station

THE POLICE helicopter was called out following concerns about a man’s welfare at Benfeet railway station.
Officers soon established that the 32-year-old man from Barking had been reported missing.
They searched the area over Canvey at about 10.30pm on Monday but to no avail.
The Metropolitan police are now working on the investigation to try and trace the man.
