What do you expect when Police Officers these days get a 30 second driving course?

Soon we will be in real problems when we will have monkeys enforcing the law?

If they continue to cut Policing budgets and reduce Police starting pay by £4000 which will mean we pay peanuts it follows the statement pay peanuts you only get monkeys !

If he was driving dangerously, then yes he should.

However, what if he was driving on lights and sirens, to reports of someone being held at gunpoint, when the Mercedes didn't check their mirrors and pulled out on him.... the person being held at gunpoint was your other half/parent/child...

Apparently he was going to Benfleet.

Surely there was someone closer - maybe from Benfleet or Canvey police stations?

oops - sorry forgot - these stations are not deemed important now :(

Have him arrested for dangerous driving. Cant have one rule for the police and another rule for us.
Read previous entry by bertss6. If it were your family member in need what would you want??? accidents happen all the time and it is not always the case someone is to blame criminally.

If all emergency services lived by your rules how would they get anywhere. Just stop moaning.

If I was in need of help. I wouldnt rely on the police thats for sure. What do think people did before we had a police force??

When you consider the mileage the police drive, it is a testament to their good driving that we hardly ever get news like this.

It wouldn't surprise me to find that this was caused by the Mercedes going the wrong way up East Street. I see people on a regular basis going the wrong way all over Rochford's one way system.
