Updated: Air ambulance lands in Rayleigh after two car crash

The air ambulance landed in Rayleigh after two cars crashed.
Shortly before midday today, emergency services were called to Rat Lane off the A127 after the collision.
The cars collided near to the Wickes store and one elderly woman complained of head pain but didn't need to be taken to hospital.

In the Echo's defense I would say the phrasing 'lands after crash' is fairly self explanatory :) This was posted at 12:03 and I saw the chopper at about 12:30; that's finger on the pulse if you ask me!
