ASHES and rubble are all that is left of The Triangle Shops after a massive blaze.

Firefighters spent hours on Thursday battling to bring the fire under control which broke out in the extraction system of the Hong Kong House takeaway.

The fire quickly spread to neighbouring shops leaving five businesses utterly devastated.

Crews continued to dampen down the burning embers throughout the night on Thursday.

This morning fire crews returned to the scene of the blaze to dampen down any hotspots.
