4:25pm Friday 4th January 2013 in Local News By Gina Marden
A MAN was dragged to the floor, kicked unconscious and robbed in a horrific attack.
The victim, a 47-year-old man, was walking through the Chafford Hundred Nature Reserve in Drake Road when he was pounched on from behind.
He was pulled to the floor before being kicked in the head several times and breaking his nose.
As he lay unconscious the callous robbers stole cash from the victim’s black rucksack and fled.
When the victim came round he walked along Devonshire Road and London Road in Grays where he made his way to the police station and reported the attack.
While he was walking a male passer-by tried to help the victim. Police are also trying to trace this man who did not leave his details.
The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated and kept in overnight.
Witnesses to the attack, which happened between 1pm and 4pm on Sunday December 30, can contact Det Con Kennedy Emson at Grays police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I wish we had a Charles Bronson death wish character.
I would love to have seen the the end of Dick Turpin, or any other street robbing scum, in fact I would pay to pull the lever.
