PLANS to create a distribution park at the Port of Tilbury will create 1,100 jobs across South Essex.

Created by Forth Ports – the owner of the port - and development firm Roxhill, the 70 acre development will be made up of warehousing, distribution and other industry.

The finished development, which already has outline planning permission, will create 1,100 jobs for local people.

Well they won t be local jobs.. there is not 1000 people in tilbury that want a job.

Are the 1100 jobs for the construction phase or from some yet-to-be-revealed new trade going on at the port? Will that trade be new trade for the UK, or will it be 1100 better-paid jobs lost elsewhere in the UK in favour of more desperate people in Tilbury?

This will be great news for any Eastern Europeans who want to come here and work for mimimum wage with two weeks holiday a year.
