Crash on M25 causes chaos for Essex-bound motorists Crash on M25 causes chaos for Essex-bound motorists

PART of the Dartford Tunnel is still closed after a four car crash inside the left tunnel this morning.

Drivers heading anti-clockwise into Essex are experiencing delays of  90 minutes following the crash at 11am.

The right hand tunnel remains open but traffic is said to be at gridlock leading back to Junction 2. 

It is not known if there are any casualties. Paramedics were seen walking to the tunnel.

Saw the traffic building up this morning, it was still like it coming back from London at 3.30pm .. In a situation like that they should waver the toll charge to get the traffic moving quicker!!

they only waive the tolls if the traffic reaches j4, or j28. I've been stuck at j3 before now and taken an hour to get to the tunnel, still had to pay though...

I have had the pleasure of driving on the M25 3 times this week and each occassion has been interuppted by a pile up.
Some of you clowns out there should spend a little less time trying to kiss the bumper of the car in front at 70+ and a little less time being so aggressive and dangerous on the road.
that way we all get to where we want to be in 1 piece.
