Firefighters cut woman free from car
5:26pm Saturday 9th February 2013 in Local News
FIREFIGHTERS cut a woman free from a car following a crash in Basildon.
It happened following a crash in Nethermayne which caused the road to be closed off for about two hours.
Crews arrived at about 1.45pm on Saturday to find three cars had collided.
They had to help a woman who was in a silver Vauxhall Zafira with three toodlers and a baby.
None of the children were injured but the woman was complaining of neck and back pain so she was cut free.
She was then placed on a spinal board and taken away by ambulance to be checked over.
Anyone with information is asked to call the road policing unit at Laindon on 101.

Having a bunch of kids in your car screaming and shouting must be very annoying, not to mention their text messages they send whilst telling the kids to be quiet, and putting on makeup as well. Yesterday, I saw a young woman with a baby in a baby carrier on the front passenger seat, and she had to brake hardly because she nearly went into the car infront. I saw that baby carrier rock a little. Not paying attention.
What's a toodler ?
