Residents caught trimming bushes on railway line
RESIDENTS trimming vegetation on a railway line caused speed restrictions this morning.
A train driver spotted some people on Network Rail land near the track the London side of Chalkwell station.
The signaller was informed who enforced a speed restriction while Network Rail sent a manager to the scene.
The residents were warned of the dangers and went back inside.
The incident meant speed restrictions were in place for around five minutes shortly after 11am on Monday on the c2c London Fenchurch line.

Nearly as clever as the residents that dump rubbish over the fence at the end of their gardens onto the railway embankment. Do they not realise how easy it is to trace them as Fly tippers?
