Sir – One sometimes hears complaints about the alleged difficulty of understanding the payment instructions in the Worcester Street car park, despite the very full information provided in the ‘pay and display’ booth.
I have no sympathy with such attitudes, which reflect an unwillingness to concentrate on the task in hand which is sadly all too common in the younger generation.
I parked there last Saturday with three friends (two maths graduates and a professor of philosophy) and we cracked it in under 20 minutes.
