MOTORISTS were stuck in five-mile tailbacks today at the M25 Dartford crossing. 

People on the Kent-bound stretch of the road approaching the bridge were stuck after a crash yesterday meant two of the toll booths were closed.

Just two toll booths out causes 5 mile tail back? What happened to open the booths for free to stop to ease traffic when these things happen?

Got to stretch back to either j28 or j4 before the tolls are lifted - 5 miles just about passes j30

Although I went through and saw no closed booths as well
