PROTESTERS were forced to sit through tonight's council meeting half naked after being asked to remove their t-shirts.

Prior to entering the Council chamber, Mark Sharp, Patsy Link and Sheena Walker had been wearing tshirts emblazoned with the slogan ‘SCRAP THE CABINET.’

These were removed from them, and they were made to sit through the council meeting half dressed.

Patsy was left in just her bra, and was made to sit with her coat on to protect her modesty.

Mark Sharp said: “We have been stripped by security. Patsy is sitting in just her bra. We always wear the ‘scrap the cabinet’ tshirts, and now they have taken them off us.’

The campaigners stood in the public gallery wearing black gags as councillors spoke.
