Trains via Ockendon delayed after car hits barrier in Vange

COMMUTERS on the c2c line between London Fenchurch Street and Southend Central faced delays this afternoon after a car hit a barrier at a level crossing in Vange.

Trains travelling via Ockendon were delayed or cancelled at short notice after the incident at about 2.40pm. 

Network Rail engineers were on site by 3pm.
