Essex Police and Crime Commissioner to visit Rochford

RESIDENTS will have the chance to quiz Essex's Police  and Crime Commissioner at a public meeting later this month.

Nick Alston will be talking about issues which affect the Rochford district.

He will be at the at the Hawthorn Centre in Rochford Hospital between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Thursday, March 28.

He said: "It is important that crime continues to fall in Essex – and that we have fewer victims of crime and fewer people living in fear of crime. I am committed to the principle of local solutions for local problems, and to ensuring that police, partner agencies, the voluntary sector and residents work together as closely as possible to keep our communities safe.

"The meeting will be two hours long. We’d love people to attend all the meeting, but if you can only make part of it, please still come along. I want your views to be part of the debate about how we can best keep the streets and countryside of Essex safe.”

Shame they can't have the meeting in that big building in South Street that's empty / closed.

They should really as it has a big sign on it that says 'POLICE'

...crime continues to fall....
If you said crime was growing, and very close to being out of control, then the government might throw some money our way.

Never forget the amount paid in council tax, all for a couple of PCSO's how many people live on Canvey these days?
If I lived there, I'd be asking some serious questions...
