Robbers smash car windscreen and threaten two men
1:44pm Thursday 14th March 2013 in Local News
ROBBERS smashed a car windscreen with kosh before threatening two men inside the vehicle.
The victims had been driving a grey Ford Focus in Edith Road, Canvey, when two men stood in the road to block their path.
One of them smashed the passenger's window with a cosh, before the other smashed the windscreen with a similar weapon.
They made off with a set of car keys and £40 in cash some time between 1am and 2am on Saturday March 9.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from Leigh, was uninjured but shaken as was his passenger. The suspects are described as white, around 5ft 10" tall wearing dark clothing with hoods up and balaclavas.

Seriously, whoever was unable to spell this fairly simple four letter word needs to be put out to pasture.
As for a similar weapon, what would be similar to a cosh? Another cosh?

Stop some way from them and if they make their way towards you, you reverse, or slam it into 1st gear and floor the accelerator, driving the car towards them. See who chickens out first. I know it means you may have dent in your car but they will have worse and think twice before doing it again.

So your sitting in a big metal box on wheels capable of mowing down anybody in your path and you let 2 idiots smash your windows & take your stuff? Words fail me. i think some people can only blame themselves for what happens to them, they got robbed because they let them
Give the guy a break - he might have stopped out of curiosity or because he thought someone needed help. Once his protective bubble had been burst, he was restrained by a seatbelt at an ideal height for a battering. His car keys may have gone before the glass stopped falling.

When you live on an island your horizons are restricted and small. This is reflected in what aspirations you have...none. Drugs, alcohol, petty lawbreaking, violence and TOWIE this is your world - these are your horizons and the CIIP pander to them. They have closed off the minds of Canvey. Let us be Independent of the mainland we hear them cry, let us make our own decisions we are independent. Except you're not, you have been brainwashed and it shows - not to you - but to us in the real world.

I think it's ridiculous to say the driver behaved in a wrong way - I'm sure most people would be pretty phased by what happened and not really know the best way to react in an instant. I certainly would worry about running into them as I wouldn't want to be charged with manslaughter or whatever. Not much in the way of legal aid out there for us paupers these days.

The robbers were "with kosh"? Is it like being "with child"?
