Car ends up on its side after crash in Leigh

A ROAD was closed this morning after a driver lost control of his car and ended up on its side.

The driver of the car struck a parked Mini on the other side of the road before hitting a second car and rolling and ending on its side.

Emergency services were sent to the scene at 7am.

The road had to be closed to recover the vehicle.

The male driver escaped from the car with no injuries.

Ooh, a road in Leigh. Stellar reporting once again from the Echo - didn't it occur to you to find out WHICH road, just to add some depth to the story!

mountdale gardens was closed this morning , athough I saw the cars and neither was a mini as mentioned in echo so could be the one :)

Was it even a car, it could have been a bike that was on its side.

Cars should be driven on there wheels and not on the side.
