Stars at Brownstock Festival draw biggest crowd in its history

Thousands of revellers made this year's star-studded Brownstock music festival the biggeest yet in its nine year history.
Some 6,000 people from across the county and further afield descended upon Morris Farm in Lower Burnham Road, Stow Maries, at the weekend for the sold-out show.
The most popular performer of the event, which started on Friday and ends tonight, was headliner Professor Green on the main stage, who wowed the crowds with his chart-topping raps.
Other top names included Mark Ronson, The Fratellis,Tom Odell, The Pigeon Detectives, King Charles, Devlin, Hadouken, The Milk and Delilah.
* Festival organisers were unable to comment on the death of a pedestrian who is thought to have attended Brownstock and was involved in a road crash in Lower Burnham Road, North Fambridge, at 10.45pm on Saturday.
