Flat fire in Leigh late last night

Echo: A FIRE broke out at a flat in Leigh late last night. A FIRE broke out at a flat in Leigh late last night.

A FIRE broke out at a flat in Leigh late last night.

At around 9.15pm, a resilience crew on non-striking fire fighters attended the incident on Wood Farm Close.

Crews entered the heavily smoke logged property wearing breathing apparatus, and used one hose reel to quickly extinguish the fire.

There were no reported casualties.

The incident was dealt with by 9.35pm.
