A DOG walker suffered a broken cheekbone after his pet was attacked by two boxer dogs.

The victim, in his fifties, was punched in the face by the owner of the two tan-coloured dogs, as he was walking his pet through Cherry Orchard Jubilee Country Park, off Cherry Orchard Way, in Rochford yesterday.

The victim’s dog and the two dogs owned by the attacker had faced up to each other moments before he was punched.

He was taken to hospital for treatment at around 2pm.

The suspect is thought to be white man, about 6ft tall, of muscular build, with a blue bobble hat, and had a northern accent.
