Fire breaks out in Southend flat
A FIRE broke out in a Southend flat this afternoon.
Two crews from Southend attended the scene, in Runwell Terrace, shortly after 12.30pm.
Officers had put out the fire and cleared the flat of smoke by 1pm.
It is not currently known whether the police are investigating how the fire began.
