Crash blocks A127
A CRASH involving a truck and a Land Rover has blocked a section of the A127.
One lane of the A127 Londonbound between Rayleigh Weir (A129) and the Fairglen interchange was blocked following the crash at about 9.30 this morning.
No-one is believed to have been injured but a woman is being checked by paramedics as a precuation. Queues continue to trail past Rayleigh Weir.
A police spokesman said: "Police are attending the scene of a crash on the westbound carriageway of the A127 Rayleigh Weir. The collision happened when a Land Rover Freelander and a truck struck each other shortly before 9.30am.
"A female occupant of the Freelander is being checked over by paramedics as a precuation."
