Rum lovers make off with £125 of Bacardi

First published in Local News

A COUPLE allegedly filled a supermarket trolley full of rum before leaving without paying.

The man and woman walked seperately into Waitrose, in High Street, Billericay, before 4.30pm on Thursday, February 20, when they met up at a drinks promotion display and put £125 of Bacardi into a trolley.

The woman pushed the trolley out of the store without stopping to pay and the man walked off in another direction.

Anyone with information contact investigating officer PC Kristy Palombella at Basildon Retail Crime Unit on 101.

When are these supermarkets going to get decent CCTV? Hi-Def kit has been around for years & is now quite cheap. I've seen better images from corner shops than these.

Tell me, have the specialists located your brain yet?

And you need to get back to that village... they are missing you...

(probably too profound for somebody of your incredible thickness to understand).

Strangely enough Kim I once thought it was your alter ego...then I realised the ego wasn't massive enough and the poster wasn't ultra frustrated with life and everything about it...

Have you heard that new poem by Skank Sliptide?

Heres an extract that might amuse you

"Theres no reds underneath my bed
but the EDL flyers in my letter box are messing up my head"

Obviously two of the starving poor due to 'der eeevil toree cuts' 'innit. Perhaps they were on the way to a food bank and stopped off for an apertif to wash it down.

So the shopkeeper recovers the loss by charging more on everything else. So not a victimless crime at all. People like this are just irredeemable scum.
