I was cutting through york road towards woodgrange drive on sat evening about 6pm, and there was a man and woman aged in their early-mid 20's in front of me. As I got close to them I remember thinking what a pair of smack heads, it was not just the cheap tracksuits (as loads of people ware them) it was the way they were sniffing with colds and the general conversation they were loudly having (she was telling a tale about being attacked by a group of men in her flat over a debt that the guy owed) .

As I walked past them, they guy turns and stares at me, then a moment later she goes "put it away, dont be stupid bla bla bla", I look around and he has a knife in her hand, as if he was going to mug me! To be very honest, I suspect he was merely trying to impress his 'date' and even with the knife (given the state of him) I think he could have been very seriously hurt. I kept walking quickly away.

I do think this mandatory 5 years for carrying a knife needs to implemented by the courts & the sentences broadcasted loudly as a deterrent to others.

Imagine if you had been mugged & possibly stabbed, and then read the story on here accompanied by comments saying it was probably pay-back for a drug debt or because you assaulted a child or something

No, I trust the Echo or police to state something along the lines of "he was waling back from the office/gym/pub" , they nearly always give a hint when the victim is a genuine victim.

lol.
Imagine that, supermadmax the victim.
I would never usually wish harm on anyone, however, due to your consistently regular victim-bashing comments on every single story that ever graces the Echo website, it would be rather pleasing to quite a few people on here, not to mention the victims themselves to hear that you have been on the wrong side of one of your ridiculous victim-is-to-blame conspiracy theories....

Grampian is dodgy, unfortunately many people have to visit here, delivery drivers (like me), social workers, council and maintenance men etc, and have to run the risk of this towering example of Labour society.
