NINE youths have been released on police bail following a massive street fight in a Pitsea underpass.
A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the eye during the incident which kicked off at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
The lad was rushed to Basildon Hospital with serious facial injuries but his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
Nine teens aged between 14 and 19 were arrested in Stanford-le-Hope about an hour after the fight.
They were questioned at various police stations in Essex.
They have been released on police bail until June 1 pending further enquiries.
