This is a widespread problem with many a foreign based menued eatery.
The other are the nail bars and car washes, all potential targets for UK Border checks, hope the Shima is closed down.

Now go ahead and down arrow my comment as usual.

Funny that, as I am more or less saying the same as you.

Time for mass uncontrolled immigration to be halted, a stocktake done, repatriations made and jobs given to LOCAL people FIRST.

You obviously have an understanding of the "potential targets" but you won't go the whole hog and condemn mass uncontrolled immigration will you?

Haven't the guts.

Somebody might down arrow you.

Down arrowing isn't my thing, though we do tend to enjoy doing so to your posts, why ? because of the reaction.
Your usual drivel in regards to jobs, how many local moronics, would work in the car wash, the nail bar the indian, almost none, apart from the latter, as an uninsured delivery driver, as all their policies, do not include business use, something which is about to be targeted, in a crack down.

I wonder how much of the potential £40,000 (£10,000 per worker) the owner of the restaurant will be fined for employing illegal workers.
This should be a zero tolerance issue, especially in the current employment climate, and the owner should have the book thrown at them to set an example.

That will hurt the Broadway brothers Co if there is a large fine to pay, amazing that these higher end places keep illegals on the premises in this day and age, the car wash just up the road got raided last year(all clear) surely that was a warning that anyone can get raided, but seems they ignored it.

I brought Fridays Echo to read further(even if it is 65p), amazing that the one brother left in charge(who took 3 hours to get to the restaurant after the officials had left) is shouting from the roof tops that immigration are picking on Chinese and Indians and that they do not employ illegals at the Shima and they are trying to run a reputable buisness and all papers where handed to officials...who then proceeded to arrest 4 illegal workers, 1 detained and 3 bailed whilst the process of removal starts, yes thats right Immigration detained legal workers as thats what they do when everything is ok with matching paperwork, personally i have gone right off Shima now, the spy cam in the bogs took sometime to get over but this has fuelled the fire again.
