POLICE are hunting a pair in connection with the theft of £470 worth of items from a supermarket in Billericay.

A man and a woman selected cigarettes, tobacco and other items at the Coop in The Pantiles at around 2pm on Wednesday, March 26.

They put the items into bags and left the stop without attempting to pay.

CCTV images of the man, in his late twenties or thirties, around 5ft 7in tall and of medium build, have been released.

He had gelled, curly hair and was smartly dressed while the woman, believed to be in her forties, had long blonde hair in a ponytail.
