SOUTHEND’S Relay for Life and an ice cream world record attempt will take place at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre in, Garon Park, on Saturday, July 26.
Organisers describe the event as inspirational festival of free talent, including everything from cheerleaders to illusionists. It’s in aid of Cancer Research UK and Southend Hospital’s cancer unit.
The fun starts at 11.45am and there will be stalls, inflatables and live stage entertainment.
You could even be a Guinness world record holder by taking part in a Rossi Ice Cream eating challenge at 1pm.
