POLICE have renewed an appeal for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a hit and run.
A silver BMW struck a 36-year-old female cyclist in Harcourt Avenue, Southend, at about 4.30pm on Saturdady.
She was rushed to Southend Hospital with a severe shoulder injury and is now recovering at home.
Police launched a search for suspects and with the help of the Essex Police helicopter, arrested three people, including a teenage boy.
Males aged 14, 20 and 23, have been released on police bail until September 17 pending further enquiries.
