A WOMAN opened her window blind to find a man trying to break in to her home.

The 34-year-old victim had been out and when she returned home she heard banging outside her living room window.

She pulled the blind up and was confronted with a man trying to force open the window.

The man ran made off through her garden, out the garden gate and down a back alley.

The incident happened at 9.36am on June 25 at The Frettons in Basildon. The suspect was aged in his early thirties, slim build, with short, dark brown hair.

He had an undercut hairstyle that was shave short underneath and then longer on top and swept to one side.

He was wearing a black fleece with an orange logo in the corner and wore black cargo pants with a stitched crease down the front.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact detectives at Basildon Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

should have boiled up some cooking oil in the frying pan and as he got his head in the kitchen chucked the lot in his face. Think his days of robbing peoples houses would be over.
