A LORRY has hit a bridge, delaying trains across south Essex.
Greater Anglia passengers have been told to expect cancellations and delays between Southend and Liverpool Street while engineers get to the site, in Shenfield, to look at the damage.
The container lorry hit the bridge just before 8am.
Greater Anglia stopped all services to assess the damage, with lines fully reopening at 8.50am.
Delays are expected to continue.
