Although it plans as normal a day as possible, it says some servives could be hit.
A council spokesman, said: “While we will do our best to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum, delivery of some services on the daymay not be possible. Inmost cases, we will not know with certainty which services will be affected until the day of the strike, but as soon as we have any information, it will be posted on the council’s website.
“As it may take longer than usual for calls to the council to be answered on Thursday, and as fewer staff may be available to offer face-to-face assistance, where possible residents are asked to make use of the website to make payments, submit application forms or report issues.
“Residents are also advised to put their rubbish out as usual by 7.30am, as we will be unable to assess the level of disruption until Thursday morning. “If we are unable to carry out collections, full details about changes to collection days will be published on the council’s website, www.
