Fire crew extinguish motorcycle blaze
A FIRE crew were called to deal with a motorcycle blaze near Fairfax Drive in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
One crew from Leigh fire station attended following a call at 4am.
The crew used one hose reel jet to extinguish the bike, which had been dumped near the brook behind Fairfax Drive.
No breathing apparatus was required, there were no casualties and the fire was swiftly dealt with, but the bike was declared a write off.
