A CHARITY has thanked a removal company after it donated a snazzy new uniform for staff.

Basis, which supports people across south Essex who suffer a visual impairment, was given the new T-shirts by Trek.

It came about after the company helped treasurer Karen Rice, 40, move house earlier this year.

Ms Rice, who is registered blind, said: “They really helped me out and they mentioned they were looking for a charity to sponsor.

“I said we needed some new T-shirts and they offered to help.

“It’s really kind of them and we’re thrilled with how they have turned out.”
