Just a forum for local nutters with a grouse against society. And the usual local Labour group nutjobs and their cronies. Except, Cllr Cockroach.. I notice you didn't attend the last Pitsea one... too busy watching the World Cup eh... Just sent your local mouthpiece, you know,, the bloke with the northern accent who would moan if he trod in a blob of icecream - oh and no doubt Bennett (Sir Les Patterson) your right hand @rselick. You know, the one who makes up trumped up Standards Board complaints, particularly against women councillors.

Question: why don't these aggrieved locals just go and see their councillors at their surgeries, or call them and ask for a visit. Any Basildon councillor is contactable although Pitsea Northwest's local leftie is a bit lax at visiting. I've heard so many complaints that he ignores requests from locals if they don't fit in with his politics. Eh Cockroach? Oooh and TELLING people who to vote for frankly isn't on. #politicalsuicide

Very good at posturing with a pair of shears and a rubbish bag though - even though you ripped off the idea from local UKIP who do it WITHOUT photographers present.

Community panels.. a costly talking shop.

You got a grievance? Go to the Basildon Council website, look up your local councillor, phone or email them and get it sorted. That's what they're there for.

Bit of a generalisation there, Ms Gandy, surely any attempt at engaging the local people should be applauded, and, anyone who'd show an inkling of interest in their community should be encouraged?

I see Ms Gandy has popped up again with her usual vitriolic comments. I am amazed at the time she must have on her hands. I also think maybe she should keep her opinions to herself considering she does not even live in Laindon/Basildon. "local nutters"? kettle, pot black, Ms Gandy! I really think you should take stock of some of the comments you make, and consider the effect you might be making to you own persona.

This report is about Laindon but we are yet again 'treated' to a hysterical rant against the councillor for Pitsea who the poster seems to have some sort of curious obsession...

I remember seeing a TV programme about a chap who made such a nuisance of himself with the local council that they had to take legal steps to prevent him from contacting the council or from visiting any of their premises. Perhaps it is time for Basildon council to take the same action toward Kim Gandy. She haunts council meetings with a passion, she makes quite unpleasant comments about any of the councillors who do not meet her approval. If you dont like what the councillors are doing don't vote for them. Oh sorry you cant because you dont even live in the borough. In fact I shall write to all 3 of my councillors asking for this action to be taken.
