TRIBUTES have continued to pour in for a Canvey teenager who died suddenly.
Joss Peters, 18, who went to Castle View School on the island, has been remembered by hundreds of friends who shared their memories and photos of him on social media.
More than 1,700 people have joined a tribute Facebook page for Joss.
Eight hundred people had joined the page, Joss Peters An Angel in the Sky, within hours of it being set up.
Kelly Appleton said: “A gorgeous smiley boy who will be missed by lots and tonight I will be lighting my candle for him.”
Elizabeth Methven said: “So sad, my heart goes out to his family and friends.
Having lost my own son, I know how painful child loss is.”
Flowers and tributes have also been left close to Canvey’s seawall.
The emergency services were called to Thorney Bay Road, Canvey, at 7.20am on Thursday and paramedics were on the scene within five minutes.
An inquest was opened and adjourned yesterday.
