IT WAS Christmas jumpers all round for staff at an electrical and homeware store in Rayleigh.
Workers at Edes donned their finest Christmas clobber to show support for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
The shop, in Eastwood Road, is collecting for Save the Children throughout the festive season and is looking to raise as much money as possible, with collection boxes in store.
The charity encourages adults to make a £2 donation and children to chip in £1, with the national event raising more than £1.6million since it began in 2012.
Adele Hagon, marketing executive for Edes Stores, said: “It was great festive fun to wear our Christmas jumpers in store for a great cause.
“We have raised £50 so far and are still collecting for the charity.
“Please feel free to call in to the store, as we are still collecting donations and it is also a great chance to do some Christmas shopping.”
