AN increasing number of residents have praised the work of Rochford Council, according to newcouncil figures.

Some 78 per cent of all comments to the district council last autumn were compliments.

Thecouncil received67compliments and 19 complaints between September and December.

In the previous quarter, June to August, compliments accounted for 66 per cent of feedback received, with 48 complaints.

Councillor responsible for people and technology, Jill Lucas-Gill said: “I am thrilled to see our customer feedback has improved once again.

“The fact people have taken the time to provide so much positive feedback is a huge credit to our hard-working staff.

“All customer feedback is discussed by managers and acted upon accordingly, and lessons are learned fromevery piece of feedback received. I urge everyone to keep providing their feedback so that we can continue to improve our services.”
