Drink driver found nearly three times over the limit
A MAN admitted driving nearly three times over the legal limit.
Raymond Orchard, 50, of Meadway, Benfleet, has been banned from driving for two years after being spotted on the A13 in Leigh in his black Ford Fiesta.
He was arrested on Dawlish Drive, Leigh at 12.50am on February 7 and found to have 104 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Southend magistrates also ordered him to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £135 costs.
