A MAN has appeared in court charged in connection with the discovery of a suspected amphetamine factory in Wickford.
Dean Perrin, 33, was arrested by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit following a search warrant in Meadow Way, Wickford, on Friday, May 22.
ERSOU officers, assisted by partner agencies including Essex Police, seized a substantial amount of chemicals from the address.
Perrin, of Meadow Way, Wickford, was charged with possessing a class B drug with intent to supply, possessing cannabis and a charge under the Proceeds Of Crime Act.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded in custody until June 15.
