POLICE have found a woman who disappeared while travelling home from visiting relatives.
Caron Findlay, 52, spoke to her family after arriving at Glasgow Central Station, in Scotland, at 6.15pm on Tuesday, following a trip to Essex.
She was expected to continue on her way home to Motherwell but did not arrive and had not been in contact with relatives since.
Police searching Ms Findlay announced this afternoon has been found safe and well.
Officers were concerned as she had never gone missing before and is part of a close-knit family who "maintain constant contact with one another".
Ms Findlay has now been traced in Ayr and police thanked the public for their assistance.
