A TEENAGER has managed to qualify two of her dogs for the world’s largest dog show.

Abbie Webb, 14, who attends King Edmund School in Rochford, has proved that hard work pays off as her two Tibetan terriers will get the chance to compete at Crufts next month.

Ciel, 4, and Adalia, 2, will compete in the handling and showing class at Crufts on March 10 at the NEC arena in Birmingham.

Proud aunt, Sharon Elvidge, who lives in Southend, said: “To qualify for Crufts is a fantastic achievement. Abbie has been showing them now for about three to five years.

“She started with the older dog, Ciel, and she really got into it so we got her a second female dog that would do better at shows.

“She is looking forward it immensely and has spent all year attending shows to make sure they qualify for Crufts so it’s very exciting.

“The whole family will be travelling to Birmingham to support her.”
