A SUBSTANTIAL amount of jewellery and hundreds of pounds have been stolen during a burglary.
The house in Elizabeth Drive, Wickford, was burgled just after 8.10pm on Monday, March 20 when someone gained entry by smashing a rear patio door.
Once inside an untidy search and hundreds of pounds in cash and various items of jewellery were taken.
Items taken were:
• 7 bar 9ct gold gate bracelet
• 9ct gold, 22inch heavy rope chain
• 9ct gold antique fob watch in a wallet
• Gucci bangle watch
• Gucci stainless steel watch with diamond inlay
• 9ct gold wedding ring band with pattern around the outer edges
• 7 cluster diamond engagement ring
• Locket and chain
• White gold and diamond earrings
• 18ct gold wedding ring with a hexagon pattern
• 3 coloured gold Russian wedding ring
