Two teenagers have been charged with robbery after two youngsters had their phones snatched.
Two boys aged 15 and 16 were robbed of their mobile phones in Western Esplanade, Westcliff, at about 10.30pm on Friday, April 21.
The victims were shaken but unhurt.
An 18-year-old man from Southend has now been charged with two counts of robbery and a 17-year-old boy from Southend was charged with two counts of robbery and possession of cannabis.
They are due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court on May 22.
