SOUTHEND’S newest bar and restaurant raised over £1,000 for homeless charity HARP.
Revolution, on Queens Road, in Southend, held a fundraising event to offer guests a special sneak peak of the menu and asked diners to pay what they wanted.
The profits where then donated to Southend-based homeless charity HARP.
Steve Mansfield, HARP fundraising and communications manager, said: “It’s brilliant that Southend’s new bar, Revolution, is getting behind the work that we do at HARP. It’s always great to see local businesses - especially those new to the town - come together to help the community. The money raised will help us support local people in overcoming homelessness for good, and we can’t thank them enough.”
