Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to a crash outside a high school last night.
The crash took place at the junction of Blenheim Chase and Middlesex Avenue in Leigh at about 7.30pm last night and is believed to have involved a private hire vehicle licensed by Transport for London and another blue car.
The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the crash.
Passer-by Colin McLion said: "As I arrived there were two fire engines and two police cars. The TFL car was a silver Toyota Prius and you could see the driver was still in the car.
"It looked like he had crashed into one pole while the other vehicle, the blue car, also still with passengers inside being seen to by the emergency services, had crashed into another pole in the centre of the road.
"All the passengers were conscious and did not look too badly injured thank God."
Police, fire and ambulance have been contacted for comment.
