The cadets were pleased with the money raised on the day
A QUIZ night helped raise £224.50 towards equipment for an Army Cadet troop.
The Basildon Army Cadet held the quiz night at their hall in Cherry Down, Basildon.
There were also other activities and a raffle with prizes donated by Basildon businesses including Costa, The Entertainer, Nandos and Starbucks.
Since the quiz night the money has been used to purchase much needed equipment for the cadets including a new white board, some radios, a sniper outfit and various sports apparatus that will help with training.
