The crew at Leigh fire station organised a successful open day which managed to raise £1,400 for charity.
Hundreds of people attended to support the Christmas fun day at the fire station on Saturday.
There was a BBQ, mulled wine and stalls and games.
Even Santa made an appearance to thank everyone for their donations.
The money will be donated to the Neptune Ward at Southend Hospital.
