Fashion divas - Nicola Thomas, Amy Ford-Lissenden, Nicki Harragon, Hayley Spendlove, Annie Lindsay, Gemma Thornton and Kirsty Gosney
HAIR, beauty and fashion students at Thurrock and Basildon College showcased their skills on the catwalk.
They sashayed in front of family and friends in the main hall of the college’s Grays campus, sporting the latest fashion, hair and make-up.
They also transformed a member of staff with a makeover, using video footage to show what she looked like before.
A prize-giving ceremony was held for the academic year 2007/08 with hairdressing student Dehsara Skera, 21, from Grays, named student of the year.
Dehsera, an Albanian national, was chosen because she succeeded on her course despite English not being her first language.
