Children from Abacus celebrate the new building
PUPILS are celebrating a colourful school extension.
The building, at Abacus Primary School, in Tresco Way, Wickford, contains four new classrooms and a second school hall.
The work was carried out after the nearby Wick housing development pushed up demand for places at the school.
Headteacher Gillian Brinded said: “It’s great to have it open.
“The extension is already proving very popular with staff and children.”
