MORE information about plans to stage the Olympic mountain-biking event at Hadleigh Castle will be revealed at two public exhibitions later this month.

Essex County Council has promised to give residents more details about the proposals.

This will include site and infrastructure plans, along with environmental considerations.

Members of London 2012 Team, the Salvation Army, Castle Point Council and technical experts are due to attend, to answer residents’ questions.

Stephen Castle, county councilor responsible for the 2012 Games, said he wanted people to get involved and feel part of the process.

The consultations will take place from 7pm until 9pm, Friday, April 24, at Castle Point Council offices, Kiln Road, Thundersley, and from 10am until noon, on Saturday, April 25, at Hadleigh Methodist Church, Chapel Lane, Hadleigh.

To attend either event, register online at www.essex.gov.uk and follow the London 2012 link or call 01245 431493.
